There are logos that are known to all of us. And what's interesting is that each of these logos have their own interesting story.

Coca-Cola logo

Perhaps this is one of the most famous logos in the world. Interestingly, this logo was invented by the accountant of the creator of the drink - Frank Robinson. He wrote the name of Coca-Cola in calligraphic handwriting, and this style of the name of the drink is still used today.

Apple logo

It would seem, how can a bitten apple become a well-known logo all over the world? It turned out to be easy! The first Apple logo was very intricate and featured Newton sitting under an apple tree. The whole picture was entwined with a heraldic ribbon on which the name of Apple Computer & Co. was written. It was impossible to remember such a logo, and even more so to reproduce it on different advertising media. As a result, Steve Jobs commissioned designer Rob Jaroff of Regis McKenna to design a normal human logo. So, in 1977, a bitten apple appeared. It was colored and only in 1999 became monochrome. Then the apple was stylized and the word Computer was removed from the name of the company.

Nike logo

An interesting story is connected with the creation of the Nike logo. In 1971, student Carolyn Davidson developed the famous Nike flourish and received only $ 35 for her work. The logo was so good that in 1983, Nike director Phil Knight gave Carolyn an extra incentive by giving her a number of shares in the company and a gold ring with the Nike logo.

Chanel

Logo the Chanel logo for women around the world stands for impeccable style, great fragrances and a little black dress. The Chanel logo of two intertwined "C" letters appeared in 1921. There are two versions of the appearance of the logo. One of them means that this is the interweaving of the first two letters of the name and surname of the founder of Coco Chanel. Another version is that it is a symbol of two horseshoes, meaning good luck and success. Be that as it may, the Chanel logo is relevant and known to this day.

McDonald's

Logo The prototype of the logo known all over the world of a fast food restaurant appeared at the beginning of the 20th century during the construction of the first restaurant. The first restaurant was a rectangular building with a red roof. However, according to Dick MacDonald, the building was boring and he added two large golden arches to the structure. In 1962, it was decided to update the company's image and make a logo(Logo Designers For Hire). The logo is a building pierced by two golden arches. And already in 1968, the building was removed from the logo, and the name of the restaurant - McDonald's - was added to the arches.

Today, it is enough just to see two golden arches on a red background, forming the letter "M", to understand that McDonald's is nearby.
