Ford



Did you know that Ford Motor was the third car company founded by the legendary Henry Ford? His first job collapsed. As for his second company (which later became known as Cadillac), Ford left it of his own free will. The original emblem for Ford Motor was an overly decorated round icon with the company name and location. In 1927, with the release of a new Ford Model A, the brand decided to renew its corporate identity. It is now represented by an elliptical blue logo that has become synonymous with good taste and style.


Apple

The graphic history of the Apple brand began with an elaborate emblem designed by Ronald Wayne, one of the co-founders of Apple. The idea behind the logo was the revolutionary discovery of Newton's gravity. Along with the company name (Apple Computer Co.), the logo featured a long quote that read: "Newton… a mind travels forever through strange thoughts… only". Disappointed with the design, Steve Jobs asked to replace it with something "not so beautiful". So Rob Janoff appeared with a colorful logo in the shape of an apple and the company name was reduced to "Apple". This happened in 1977. The new logo was aimed at a younger audience and passed on the unique ability of the computer to reproduce colors. You may be wondering why the apple in the logo has a bite. In 1984, with the release of the Apple Macintosh, the tech giant decided that its symbol had become famous enough to represent the Apple brand on its own. Levi's


Currently, the Levi's emblem is available in two versions, a minimalist white and red logo and a two-horse logo. The horses' logo appears on the patches of Levi's jeans to emphasize their high quality and durability. The idea for the red logo was born only in 1940 as an attempt to be perceived among a growing number of competitors. In 1969, Levi's introduced another of its emblems in the form of bat wings, created by Walter Landor & Associates. Enthusiastic fans of the denim brand did not like the original design less than the other two. Levi's logos look like a big, strong family, don't you agree?


VISA



The VISA logo was created in the same year that the company was founded. In the original emblem, the trademark was arranged in two lines, with two capital letters painted blue and two small painted yellow. In 2006, the company changed to a more visible and recognizable font. In 2014, yellow was removed from the emblem, leaving the logo monochrome. Today, you can see the new icon in all the marketing and advertising material related to VISA and we think it looks stylish!



Canon


We bet that only Canon hardcore fans know that the original Canon logo had Kuwanon, the goddess of mercy revered by Buddhists.
